Blue-black-grey-white

My third quilt for my brother! Plus two cross-stitched pillows. Found a cute pattern for the pillows and thought that they could be perfect for Maris.
I used a very weird technique making this quilt, I always find my own. ;) I think it looks soo much better like this. I wanted to make something that is not old fashioned, but is modern and boyish. It's probably hard to see in the pictures, but I sew the lines right on to the stuffing and under part. Hard to explain.. ;) Anyway, I like it!!

Purple

My second quilt ever! I love patchwork and I had so much fun making this one. Starting from choosing colors to sewing all together. This one is more advanced than my first one. There are four squares in one, so that means I spent more time.
This quilt was a present to my mummy. She could not stop admiring it and being happy about it, which makes me soo happy! :)

London Notebook

This is something I've never done before, but I loved the result! I cross-stitched the picture in tiny crosses. If I continue like this I'll need glasses pretty soon. ;) Anyway I sew the picture to paper with sewing machine and then glued that to the notebook.
The notebook was for a person who moved to London to study. So it is filled with pictures and letters from his family and friends wishing him all the best in London.

Lace top

It's been a while since I have found something nice for myself in the shops. So I wanted to try how it is to make something myself. This is so much cheaper, but it does take some time to finish up all details. This was my own pattern. That's the great thing about sewing yourself, you can choose how your top will look like and what material you'd like to use.

Father and Son

I've really started with the aprons, eh? ;) I love the idea, so I decided to make two more. They were for two boys from my Australian family. Birthday presents, one adult apron and then I found a cute children's one!
Daddy's (Adrian's) apron
Timmy's present
My first photo-shoot together with the best models! ;)

Another birthday present with cross-stitched pansies. A towel with a matching card. Notice Maija's brand label? ;)

Mice Pillow

THE pillow that started it all! I cross-stitched it three years ago for my Australian cousin Timmy. After this pillow I understood that this is what I want to do more of. But this was my first big project! I spent so much time on it, but I finished it!
Some cute pictures they sent me with both boys cuddling my pillow. It makes me soo happy seeing people loving what I've made!!

My Labels

I had ordered my own design labels a long time ago and finally I got them! My brother, Maris, actually designed this logo for me with Photoshop. I love it! So now everyone getting presents from me will have my design label on it. So on the left there is a woven label, but the picture on the right is showing the stickers. All my towels, aprons and cards will have their own label next time!

Animals

Again one of my favorites! Presents to my mum's sister's family in the far Australia. I like giving personal presents, so I have found that if I just cross-stitch a small little picture and sew it on something, that makes a nice gift!
They sent me some really cute pictures where Timothy and Oliver are holding their presents from me. Tim chose the hedgehog, but Ollie always loves birdies, so he got the towel with owl. Parents got the two other ones. Cuties! :)

Frog Prince

As I love frogs, this is one of my favorite projects! Another present to a very dear person. And another apron. This time it is not only a cross-stitched picture, but there is also patchwork method used. See those green-beige-dark green squares on the bottom of the apron?
